Ok guys been a long time since my last post and i need to get this working again.
My 2002 7.3 will not start most of the time , you can crank it 4 or 5 times and on the 6 it will start and run fine or it will start first go or third , it starts when it wants too.
now i have changed the CPS and the ICP, i have 2 spare of each and still have the same problem , when cranking my HPOP reads 0 when it does not start but when it goes to start you see the needle move and oil pressure build to about 1000 psi and starts in about 3 seconds , run fine , drive fine, just do not stop it or it will be 10 to 15 mins before you can get it running again . To me its electrical, i just do not know where to start.
Thanks Guys

Sounds more like an oil seal problem than electrical.make sure the little tin nut holding the solenoid on the ipr didnt fall off.have you pulled the ipr and checked/replaced the orings?pop the valve covers off and look for oil bubbling up around the injector hold down clamps while its running, indicating bad injector orings.

Before trying to start it remove the oil pressure sensor or pipe plug from the top of the hpop reservoir and dip a screwdriver or stick in there to see if its empty or full.it should be full even if it sits for a month.

We all run into problems like yours. Glad you figured it out and I am sorry it took all of the money you spent.
