I am having a hard time finding a 2011 or newer 6.7 F350 Crew Cab 4x4. Im looking for a rust free Lariat or XLT with 150k or less for 25k-30k. I want to use it for daily work and to tow my 36ft camper. It is a 2004 Coachmen Somerset Dream Catcher Fifth Wheel Series M-325 RLS. NADA Guide says it weighs 9600 lbs. http://www.nadaguides.com/RVs/2004/Coachmen/M-325-RLS-__/4076264/Specs It feels alot heavier than that with my current truck!! I have looked on cars.com and everything is 1500 miles away and in rust country! Anyone have a few websites to check or ideas where to look?
Thanks ;tu

Good luck on finding a good used, but not used up 6.7, they don't last long on used car lots these days.
I would look in TX or OK. for clean ones. Yes I know that's 1000 miles away.

Thanks Doug! They are very hard to find for sure. I found a couple that looked really nice and were a good price out Midwest but the carfax said they were bought at auction from Alberta! I guess Ill keep looking. My 2002 7.3 has over 500,000 miles on it. How long do these 6.7s last?
Thanks again!

If I cant find a 6.7. What about a 6.4? Should I stay away from the 6.4s? If not what needs to be done to bullet proof them? I want to keep the truck for at least 10 years and plan to work with it and tow the camper 8-10 times a year.

Jus' another one of my .02's but... and I'm not Bashing ANY OTHER PSD..

For the bucks you might spend to "Bullet Proof" anything, at this point in a.. step up... jus' might offset the dif you'd spend for a 6.7.

My 012.. came to me... Off The Lot.... Fully Capable of doing anything I've ask of it. The Power, Ride and the Handling of out 5r.. and as a Daily Driver.. is OEM GREAT.

Stay On The Hunt ?

I found a good looking 12 or 13 here in Arkansas with 78000 on it on Craigslist. You may want to check out AR and TN.
Good luck and don't get in a big hurry. If you want to send me a PM with your wants, my buddy and I will keep our
eyes open for one. People will lie like a rug when talking about their car or truck that's for sale.

Ok guys what do you think about this truck and carfax report? This is the first time I have really looked at a carfax. I looked at the truck today and it looks really nice inside and out. I just dont know what to make of the carfax. I talked him to $31000 and he said I could take it to be looked at also. Where should I take it? Should I take it to the dealer listed in the carfax or just call to talk to them(Crossroads Ford of Wake Forest)? They are 20 minutes from where I live. Comments and suggestions please. Thanks Jeff

I also found a 2012 fully loaded Lariat Texas 1 owner super clean with lots of pics including under the truck with 151,000 for $29,990

Take it out for a drive and see how it is. Tranny shifts good? Steering feel good or sloppy? Brakes? How does it drive and handle? Any unusual noised? Does everything work? It looks good from what information you have provided.

It's about to be a 6 year old truck, made in March of 2010, will they not come down 28 or 29, sounds high to me with that many miles.
