Replaced 2 hood gas shocks/struts. Wow...the originals from 2002 were hanging by a thread...Didn't know how bad it was until I pulled the first one off and about got the guillotine.

Replaced the inner axle seals and the rest of the seals that accompany that job as well as all new tie rods and steering damper. Now just waiting until Tuesday to get it aligned and get new tires.

Edit: I have an 03 Excursion 4x4 with the 6.0.

Over the w/e we reconfigured the truck from a ballasted down snow plow truck to a tow vehicle! In winter I ballast the rear with 1500# of bagged coal, and of course, put the low on.In winter the truck never leaves the property and is stored inside the heated shop.Everytime we have to plow its a 5hr job with all the driveways and large turnarounds which are also used for outdoor horse exersize areas.Anyway, the bed and transfer fuel tank got degreased and the rest of the truck washed, the underside powerwashed.Re-installed the gooseneck hitch and other than cleaning the interior,we are ready to tow! I'm only 4 weeks out from open heart surgury for a tumor inside the heart and a bypass so I recruted some nieghbor kids for most of the work!Drs say I can drive in 2 more weeks so I am ready to do something!

Been putting it off for a long time, truck just turned over 125000 mostly trouble free miles. So today with the help of a friend we changed out the water pump, fan belt, upper and lower water hoses and thermostat, tensioner and both belt pulleys. Pulled the lower plug out of radiator, took the thermostat out and drained.
Filled with water from hose and let it run for 45 minutes on high idle with the heater running full blast. Drained it and refilled it with distilled water, drove it around for about twenty minutes, drained it and filled up again with distilled water. After driving it that time we pulled thermostat and water pump and replaced with all new parts. Topped it off with Rotella Long Life Antifreeze.
While I was at it, I put on a water filter. So that's my Christmas present to myself and my Ford F-350.

Started it to move it back a few feet for the block heater cord to reach. Lol
