Hi all!

I just picked up my first diesel truck on Friday. I figured if I'm going to buy a new truck it might as well be my dream truck.

2013 F250 Lariat. I towed our 3 horse slant to a horse show on Saturday and absolutely fell in love with it. It hauls so much better than my '13 Ecoboost (which was also a great truck. I was just ready for an upgrade). Hopefully the new addition is as good to me as the F150 it replaced. Those cooled seats really do help with North Carolina humidity haha! My wife decided that was the one feature she never knew she needed.

Nice truck. The diesel will spoil you. And the cooled seats are nice.

Thanks guys! I've put about 1500 miles on this thing over the weekend hauling our horse trailer then heading over to the cost and back. It's done good for me so far and today my wife drove a few hundred miles to take the kids to the Zoo.

I don't think I've ever been this impressed with a vehicle purchase.

Funny story. Between my place nd Az there's a fairly large mountain. Goes from sea level to 4500ft with some points at a 6% grade. First time I'm towing my boat I'm wondering why everyone is going so slow up the mountain. I look at the speedo and I'm doing 70 without even trying. Diesel is awesome.

Haha that's how I felt this weekend pulling the horse trailer. My mother in law was following me in her rental (she came done for the weekend) and we get onto the highway and no ones letting me merge over. So I just floor it to get in front of them and she was left a few cars behind because she couldn't keep up.

She is not as aggressive as you are. My Mother was the same way in a car, she would go faster than most traffic but did not like to pass others.
