Hey guys, been a while! Admittedly, i do not wrench on my 2011 like i used to on my 7.3, so trying to see what i could be getting myself into here before i try to address the problem.

Yesterday, i was towing a trailer with golf cart (maybe 3000 lbs total, so not much) and i started to notice a loud hiss of what sounds like it's coming from the driver's side of the engine compartment. Naturally, I'm thinking this is almost certainly a intercooler boot leak (they obviously still route the damn CCV into the intercooler...thus the oily residue). Truck still runs great, has plenty of power, but if you get up above ~12lbs of boost (going off the factory gauge) you hear the hiss and it just goes up from there. Looks like I'm pretty much still able to get max boost of around 20 lbs and it really doesnt seem to bleed off more than normal wastegate operation. So, i popped the hood and its obviously a lot different than my 7.3. I used to be able to take the whole intercooler pipe and boots out in about 15 min. This whole system doesn't appear to have removable clamps on the boots at every location like my 7.3 did. Looks like there's some sort of plastic section where the clamps on the boots were factory installed and not removable.

So, bottom line, my question is, does it seem likely i have a boot leak? Has anyone taken these off and if so how hard of a job is it? Is it worth just replacing the plastic stuff and boots all together?
