So I have a new 2017 f250 with a procomp 4" stage 2 lift installed by the dealership at the time of purchase.

The blis or blind spot detection is not operating. Has anyone had this problem? Dealer seems to think it is due to having the 4" lift installed making the sensors not pick up most cars. I would buy that....however it doesn't pick up anything including transfer trucks that are in blind spots???

Well..... thanks for all the responses. I found out the reason my trucks blis was not operating is because it doesn't have blis! So 2017 f250 ultimate lariat package doesn't include blis.

You really shouldn't need BLIS if your mirrors are set up properly. Most people set their mirrors incorrectly. You rearview mirror may need slight adjusting, and most people need to adjust their passenger side mirror. If done properly their should be no blind spot. Set your passenger mirror to pick up vehicles in your blind spot just before they are leaving your view of your rearview mirror. There is a better video out there, but this is the only one I could quickly find.

Been doing this now for years and i can see everyone around me.

Thanks I understand, however if someone where to buy a truck with blind spot detection (which they are paying for) they would want it to operate as it intended

Yes, I agree. A 4" lift should not be drastic enough to effect the BLIS. Just pointing out that BLIS is not really necessary on most vehicles.
Hope you get it sorted out.

My Ultimate Lariat (aka: Luxury Lariat) did not come with BLIS either.
Oh well....
