Opposite of loss of power

Alright i have a 2000 f350 7.3l. This has only happened a couple times where the truck would be running fine then come to a stop and it becomes extremely lopey and when you hit the pedal it will sling you back in the seat and fill your pants. Roastin the tires off smoke bellowing from tail pipe. This is a non chipped truck. What was the cause of this? And i want it back all the time

I would say you could be exaggerating just a hair......
My guess would be a failing icp sensor.

No exaggeration. Thank you for impute. So it might have gotten stuck semi closed to produce higher injection pressures.

that would be my guess.. ICP sensor failure's are common on this engine..

Thank you guys i pulled and cleaned ipr tested coil i bought a cps from orrilies, then bought a factory cps, have high torque starter on order cause motor not spinning fast enough even after new batteries and clean connections. So in the mean time i took two intakes and split them and ported them. I had fuel lines to head made to take out the crimped tubes along with the brass fittings drilled out, put hydraulic hoses and fittings on hpop, harpooned tank, fuel restrictions in fuel bowl, upgraded turbo wheel. Also did the resistor mod on double switch one side for 10k and other side im going to find the highest resistor i can run without stalling

I swapped pcms from a 01 excursion with chip key to my 2000 f350 non chipped key. Would that keep my f350 from running it takes long cranking then starts for a second then shuts down. Is it 5he anti theft crap or something else
