I am looking for comments and performance data on mpg changes when purchasing and installing a Stealth Module on a 2013 Powerstroke Turbo 6.7
I am averaging around 13 or so in town and 15-16 on highway. I will be towing a 14,000 lb. 5th wheel from Michigan to Arizona in end of December and would like to get better mileage. Pulling trailer from Virginia to Michigan in September, I averaged between 8.5-10.
Truck has 99,000 miles on it, and will not spend 2500. to delete. Would like to keep stock.

Not a lot of point in tuning, if you aren't deleting.
You will almost never gain mileage from tuning alone. Mileage is controlled by your right foot.
The advantage of deleting is free-er growing exhaust, as well as weight savings.

How fast are you going on the highway to only get 16mpg? Are you up on the usual maintenance? Filters, fluids, etc.

I usually do 65-70 on highway. I baby all my vehicles.
That's probably your problem. You can't baby these things. Put your foot in it. Let the turbo spool. These trucks like to work. I get 18-20mpg on the highway doing 75mph. I get 14ish around town.

While I agree that these trucks like to be worked, with that being said, the faster you go the more fuel you burn.

I had a DuraMileage module in my 16 F350 and took it out. All they do is trick the ECM into adding more fuel to the engine. My mileage went down and the regens shortened. That means more soot was created by more fuel. Because all they do is add more fuel and nothing else is changed. I now think this is not the best thing for the engine or the DPF system. Check out this video. This changed my mind on my module.

You can tune with emissions on. Check out 5 Star and DP-Tuner. These also have transmission tuning as well because I don't like the factory shifting strategy myself. I hear they are really great tunes. I go back and forth with buying one and tuning. I am still under warranty at 38k+ miles. A retired Ford transmission Engineer on a different forum says that a hidden red flag will be set in the ECM if the engine makes more power than stock. So using these tunes could potentially present a problem if you had an issue with the engine or trans.

I'm in Western New York and the winter blend fuel definitely affects my mileage during the cold months. I have the 3.55s and keep track of my mileage. I have not figured it out in awhile but I was getting anywhere from 12.5 to 14 mpg. It all depends if I have to use four wheel drive or not. I do have some hills in my daily journey to work which is 18 miles one way. I have about 40 percent highway in that trip as well. In summer, it usually goes up to 15 to 16 mpg. On my annual trip to Kentucky to see family, I've seen 18 mpg while doing 70 to 80 mph but there are hills once you get out of the flatlands of Ohio.

As with any vehicle there's a sweet spot for MPG. I get my best freeway MPG between 75 and 80mph. I always say I drive my truck like I drive my Cobra. You kinda have to around here to keep up with traffic. But I seem to have less regens than others I talk to and do a little better on mileage. I also made sure to break it in right when I first bought it.

Ford came up with a way to check to see if a vehicle has been tuned back in 2011. They denied a lot of Mustang owners with blown engines because of it. I don't blame them either.
