My thought was more I have no idea on the miles on the injectors and I don't want to do the passenger side or one injector and then have to tear it apart and do more.

I just hope I am right on with the diagnosis I can't think of anything else it could be

It sounds right to me, but I always have to remind folks how hard it is to diagnose things without actually having the truck "in hand". That said, low fuel pressure, inadequate flow, or air will quickly ruin all injectors.

You can get OEM remans on-line at AutoNation White Bear Lake (a dealership) for around $180 each. Not sure where the best price is for the new Pure Power injectors. They will be a little more IIRC.

Trying to update everything here, I solved my issue, ended up replacing all 8 injectors with a set from Warren Diesel with new spool valves, there is a world of difference how these buzz vs the previous injectors.

So far it's been 3 weeks and no problems yet(knock on wood) it's runs really good.

And I had no real signs pointing straight to injectors, the only thing I ended up having at startup was a rough idle and a little plume of black smoke.

To anyone else fighting issues like this good luck to you, and FORScan Lite and Torque Pro are your friends.

Thanks for updating! You have sure been through a lot of issues in the last 3 months, but (as I posted previously) good job sticking with it and not getting (overly) frustrated! Injectors are expensive and because of it, hard to pull the trigger on. A person really needs the dealership IDS system to test them, but your persistence got you the win!

Oh - and keep an eye on that fuel pressure. Dropping to 50 psig is ok, but it is getting to the lower edge of what you want to see. Low fuel pressure and/or poor fuel flow will quickly kill injectors! I periodically check for bubbles in the fuel as well as monitoring the pressure. Early detection is the key to minimizing the spending!
