The Ford emblem in the center of my steering wheel is very bent. It seems to have tabs that hold it to the airbag cover. I can remove the airbag, but I'm not seeing a way to remove the cover without drilling rivets. In addition, I cannot seem to find an actual replacement emblem. There are TONS of overlays out there, but that doesn't help if the emblem is jacked.

This seems to be a pretty standard problem. Anyone out there have actual experience with this? Know a vendor that sells the actual emblem?

So nobody has dealt with this? Given the stellar factory performance of the 6.0L, I find it very hard to believe these emblems haven't taken a beating. Nobody??

The emblems that I've seen and dealt with are made out of aluminum with aluminum tabs sticking Thur and bent under. Just work a small screwdriver underneath starting at the bottom and pry it up working your way around slowly till the tab straighten themselves out and come out.
You might be able to massage the dents out of it and then put it back.
