You will be OK, but carry an extra fuel filter. Bio cleans out you r fuel system. It should not be too big of a problem as your truck is not too old.

Thanks for your reply DaveBen I see you live in Ukiah I used to go the golf course there during summers I spent at Clearlake,,
I do have another question? I was on my way up to Tahoe for Christmas and for the first time I have a check engine light that popped up?
I was concerned and I got a hold of the Ford dealer in Fairfield where I live the guy there told me to pull into an O'Reilly's Auto Parts and have them pop up the code
I thought this was a great idea and it just so happens there was one right on the exit I had to take. the code was P20BA
when I got home I went to the dealer and ask them if they could tell me what the code ment, and that's when the guy told me just bring it in and we can diagnose it.
when I asked him if he wanted to look at the what the code red he said no that it could be any number of things
I did a little research and on YouTube it popped right up that lot of guys had the same code and it is the def heater,,
my question is do I bring it to the dealer that told me it could be a number of things?? Thanks again

My quick search shows it's just the heater. If it was a 20EE then it would the NOx sensor. Or something like that. But then if you don't get into freezing weather I probably wouldn't worry about it.

I'd tend to agree with that. I have an old, half-empty jug of DEF at the shop, and it's got urea crystals all around the neck of the container from where the carrier fluid has evaporated. So my conclusion would be to just drive it, unless you are going to subject the truck to sub-freezing temps for anything more than a couple hours.

That being said, the system can't turn the light on twice, so why you're running around with the CEL glowing, something COULD occur you might want to know about.

In other words, just get it fixed.
