Well I did an impulse thing and bought a 2017 F250 deleted. Beautiful truck but I have no idea what I have or what to do now. The truck has had two problems thus far. First was the automatic hub locks were disconnected at vacuum line. That's fixed. Now the truck won't crank. It's like I don't have enough cranking amps. With DC volt meter I am reading 10.8 volts even with battery charger on the batteries. I'm working to replace batteries now (they are original).
Any input or advice is greatly appreciated as to how to best deal with a deleted truck. I am hoping to tow a 5th wheel eventually with this thing.

It sounds like one of the batteries has a dead cell. You need to replace them in pairs though so get two new ones and report back.

What do you mean by how best to deal with a deleted truck? It's the same as any other truck as far as maintenance and upkeep.

I replaced both batteries and now I’m all normal.
In regards to the deleted part. I’m assuming not all deletes are created equal. Would be nice to know what I have for reference. I found a twist knob next to steering wheel with a wire to the fuel filter. No idea what that could be. Guess I should find a consultant. thanks for the reply!

That is curious. Double check your wire tracing. You're right in that all delete (tunes) are not created equally. Some do use a knob for SOTF (switch on the fly) tune changes but the one I'm familiar with uses some wiring under the hood from a sensor (can't remember which one).

Since your truck is deleted never take your truck to the dealer cause if they reflash your truck you'll be in limp mode until you reinstall all the parts that were deleted
