Something good to say - props to LIPD

Hello folks,

Just got back from Daytona bike week, and of course its snowing in New Hampshire today. Anyway, just before I left I was expecting parts. My original DP chip from LIPD was a little off due to the original computer program. Well, Jeremy said no-problem, ship it back and I will fix it. After discussing the PCM with him, I decided to upgrade to a new one(He uses all the letter codes and abreviations like most do here, I am still trying to learn them). Well anyway, by the time he got the new PCM and chip programmed together and sent out, it arrived the thursday before I left. Like a little kid on christmas I ran outside on a 25 degree day to install the new toys. No problem, it plugs in in moments. So, I run back to the house to get my keys to take her for a short rip to play. Here I am in the drivers seat, turn the key, and it does nothing but turn over. Wont start....Now I want to cry. Lots of time and money spent and nothing to drive to Daytona. I called Jeremy, Now both of us are trying to figure this out. He says he has 15 minutes to get to UPS to ship me a new one overnight before I am scheduled to leave on saturday morning, and it is snowing on Long Island. After some thinking and planning on his part, he says"It looks like I am driving to New Hampshire". I asked if he was serious, and he said he was. When his girlfriend got off work on friday they hopped into her car and headed north. 12:45 am he pulled into my driveway, with the PCM from his personnal truck in hand. Five minutes later the new computer was in my truck and it was fired up. They hung around for a bit and visited for a while then went off for the night.

That was one bit of customer service that went far above and beyond expectations. I am so completely grateful to his dedication and knowledge. I am sure ther are other diesel shops that offer great parts, service and knowledge, but, I will be hard pressed to go elsewhere after that service. I am not going to tell folks that everyone should use him exclusively, but for me, it warrents being a loyal customer. I hope everyone is getting the customer service they deserve, if not, go see Jeremy. He will help ya out anyway he can. THANKS JEREMY.

Cliff

Great story! Great to hear customer service is alive and well! I got most of my stuff (see sig) from Jeremy also. He is a great guy to do business with. I wish I lived closer, I would love to get him to do some installs on my truck.

I saw many boneheads on crotch rockets acting stupid, also many very good people. My buddy got a $120 ticket for doing a burnout at 50 mph on his "Boss Hoss 502" Now that is a machine !!!
