Tire Rotation

haha you would have rotated about 7-8 times :) These are pretty tuff tires though and are really made for heavy duty highway driving and that is it. Went in the sand once at the beach back home and it is a no go that is for sure.

Yep after closer examination the backs were wore down quite a bit more than the front...I didn't measure.....but they wore evenly. As for the fronts had a lot more tread but the outers especially on the very edge were hurting.

I would say I would rotate them every couple times I change the oil now except I don't think that would do me any good. I've already done the damage.

I'm an old fart with old habits I continue to practice. I treat all tires as if they're rotational. 4 wheel vehicles, I swap out fronts and rears with no crossing; duallies, replace them as they wear out by axle. I go through two sets of fronts to one set of rears.

For the past ten or so years, I generally haven't kept a vehicle long enough to wear out tires. My tow rigs have been the exception. I trade up so the dealer does all the wrenching. My non-automotive career is more than enough to keep me occupied and entertained.
