I would have to agree, the Ford's tires were skipping the whole time. Besides, the Dodge was a dualie. It already had the upper hand with traction alone. The Ford driver should have eased onto the go pedal. I think that might have helped.

Put the Ford in 2nd low-lock give him about 1500 RPMs, hold the brake until the other guy spins. If he don't Put it in park and let off the brake slightly your truck will rock backwards Slightly and will almost always brake the other guys U joints!! Then haul azz with him! Done it many times!!

Ahhh I think the bumper pulls are over rated anyhow..LOL, but the 7.3 is much better than the Cummins!

I pulled against a cummins when I had my 2000 7.3, You have to be quicker on the throttle and be in 7.3s peek torque before the dodge guy knows what hit him.
I also would not do this on pavement! Just asking to break something!

It's all about weight and traction. He who has the heaviest truck wins.

The for didn't appear to be in 4*4, let alone 4 low where it should have been.

All I heard out of my kid brother was Dodge/CTD this, Dodge/CTD that....until he hooked the 12K 5er up to my truck and drove it. My truck became his chosen puller throughout the recent 4K miles FL vacation while his brand new 2500 sat in his garage. He hates handshakers, but now swears his next tow rig won't be an automatic. After the trip, he laughed and said his truck feels like a flintstonesmobile....especially the steering.

Yep....there's a lot going on in that video they don't want anyone to know about.
