ME TOO, I don't consider myself old (37) but most of the new head units available today just annoy me! You should not have to do this to changed the bass level (push button A for 5.6 seconds to bring up the options, push button B push 3 times very fast to access the bass level, button C to increase, button D to decrease, button H to exit the main menu.) I miss good old fashion knobs big one on each side w/ other controls even bigger behind the main ones. The new systems don't sound any better than the ones I built in high school! they just have more distractions. You shouldn't have to look at the unit to make sure your adjusting the right thing.

i wasn't picking on you. i was being humorous. i didnt figure you left it unlocked. i apologize for not clarifying, and for making light of the situation. i know how devastating it is to get ripped off. the hard work and efforts put into what you have and someone comes along and takes it away without thinking twice. it shouldn't happen to anyone, but it does and it's disgusting. i'm sorry that happened to you and i'm sorry for my comment.

that i even gave these bastards a chance to break in...

but my point is that no model year or manufacture brand is
immune...theyre only focused on the newest stuff...soon as the 08's
are plentiful i might not have so much to worry w/.

That's a great deck Bush, that's what I replaced mine w/ when my old unit got jacked about 8 months ago. Give it a week and you'll be able to fly through the controls & menus w/ the remote & not even have to look at what your doing.

tell ya one thing bush i had my nokia car kit set up to mute my pioneer radio and that lasted about a week. first time i was listenin to a good song and my phone rang and muted it drove me completely crazy. so i cut the wires and aint hooked it up ever since. but to each his own

mines ONE button to turn on or off the bluetooth...if i dont want
incoming calls i turn my phone on silent...

mines a blackberry so i get personal emails & biz emails 24/7 if i leave
it on...if i see the call or email and its after 5pm i dont answer it...
simple as that.
