    Body sag

Measure to the body and you will find the drivers side is lower. I have seen this on my 2004 F-350. You are always in the drivers seat and not always some one in the passenger seat.

    F350 Hubs

I have a friend who has a 2000 F-350 Dually. His hubs are the same as mine (2004 F-350 not dually). There is an adapter for the ten hole wheels but nothing for the hubs.

Jack the front uo so both tires are off the ground. Now try turning the wheel both ways. Is one way easier than the other? If so, it is the box.

    Question Rear Axle Servicing

Yes it was the fill level plug. Most people remove the cover to drain the gear oil, I do. Your choice. I do not know anybody who has done that. Maybe someone will chime in.

    Question Rear Axle Servicing

Is the cover pressed sheet metal? If so that would be very difficult as the factory has a metal bung they press in that is drilled. You could make one and weld it into the cover. :thumbs

Other oils are fine. I have not used Valvoline gear oil but I have used other brands and they work good.

    Question Rear Axle Servicing

If you are having no problems, leave it. If your posi isn't engaging then you can change the oil and add a friction modifier. FORD XL3 FRICTION MODIFIER ADDITIVE is available at your dealer.
