    If the clutch isn't engaging and assuming you freon quantity/pressure is ok....... With the engine idling and a/c on tap the front of the clutch with a screw driver handle. If it engages the clutch may be worn. You won't be adding a shim.....you will be removing one. Tbar

    It is normal to hear the vacuum pump running when you turn the key. This pump also supplies vacuum to your HVAC system. You might also hear the fuel pump running under the drivers side floor board. Tbar

    Question Oil pan hard replacing? Leaking, Not gasket, Puncture.

    What makes you think it is leaking......??? You realize any leaks in the valley of the engine run to the rear.....down through the bell housing and exit the vent hole making it appear to be a pan gasket or rear main seal. Even if it is leaking.....well......adding oil is cheep. :D Tbar

    I gotta ask how you did this. Did you pull the engine and pan to check the P/U tube for cracks??? After you run the truck and get it hot.....pull the dipstick. Does the oil look foamy? Tbar

    Question This looks potentially bad.

    I wouldn't go out of my way to R&R that seal until your replacing ball joints or wheel bearing. Its a dust seal and not a oil seal. Even if the oil seal is leaking its easier to add fluid twice a year than it is doing all that wrenching. Like I said.......wait until your replacing ball...
