I've had some new boots from DieselSite for about 2 months now and just haven't had time to put them on. My old ones are in horrible shape. It can only improve things I'm sure.
I'm thinking it may be the cheap ball joints I put in last time. I hate to do that job again but I don't want to trash my new tires either. I just need the time to get under it and see what's going on now......Guess I'll start pricing some Moogs.
Same here. I replaced the hubs, ball joints, sway bar ends, shocks, brakes all in one day and still have a clunk. I am beginning to think it is the steering shaft as I can feel some dragging in it sometimes. I'm still in search of.....
Hmmmm, I wonder why we use gauze/oil inlet filters on $600,000 GE T-700 helicopter engines in the desert? I guess Napa didn't have any that fit........oh, I know- It's an aircraft, not a truck so it's not the same.....

My HPOP had an oring go that caused me to lose all of my oil going down the highway. Mine's a 7.3 but I would think things would be similar. At least take a look there. Good luck.
