    Help Needed radio/window failure?

Dan,since this would be the easiest thing to eliminate,go ahead and install a new 15 amp fuse for the radio and the 30 amp fuse for the Master Window Adjust Switch panel on the drivers door armrest. Fuses are cheap and could be the trick, after that you have to pull the switch panel out and...

    Help Needed radio/window failure?

First part that comes to mind is the GEM or General Electronics Module but the GEM may be limited to the 7.3 models. I'll have to gander at the service manual to see what it says.

    Rear window defrost ??

I've seen several defroster lines cut at window tinting shops,it doesn't take much to break the lines on them as it's very thin solder lines pretty much.

    Rear window defrost ??

On the center wire that isn't heating there's most likely a hairline cut on it somewhere, doesn't take much to break the continuity.

    Black engine oil

Sounds like a bypass oil filtration kit could be an option for your 6.0L With our 7.3L we drain down the HPOP resevoir of about 14 ounces of old engine oil which really helps extend the new oil's clarity past 2k miles,we don't tow regularly so it looks clean for a long time. Here's a very...

Help me pick a tire....BFG MT KM2, ATKOE, TOYO AT, MICH LTX M/S....others?

Love our LTX's I had a set of BFG TKO 285's on our Excursion for about 20k miles, great looking mainstream tire, good traction in the snow, little slippery on wet paved surface, bit noisier than I'm accustomed to,requires more balancing and rotation, had one tire go out of round(replacement issued...
