    I saw an article a day or so ago that mentioned GM wanted to merge with Ford before the government takeover. Wagoner went to Mulally with the idea and Mulally (thank God) flatly turned him down.

    That's great!!! As the truck gets broken in, your mileage should increase. As Dave asked "how fast were you going?". When I had my 7.3, I tried to keep the rpm's below 2,000 (70 mph), although it was tough at times depending on traffic.
