    Front Swaybar Bushings

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. All the Energy Suspension sets I see come with swaybar end link bushings but I'm only doing the axle mounted bushings. Is poly poly or does the brand matter? I get a discount at my NAPA and they have three bushings listed but it doesn't list any as poly. I've...

    Question '01 SD 7.3 for '96 7.3 CCSB

Value wise that sounds pretty good. Unless his has some hidden gremlins. I know nothing about the F150s so someone else here should weigh in. On the surface it sounds pretty good.

    2011 Ford Diesel

Welcome! A 6.9? Old school in a new truck!:D I'm sure just a typo. 6.7 in your rig. I hear good things about that motor and tranny combo.

    Question '01 SD 7.3 for '96 7.3 CCSB

When your done and need the power of a diesel again then you can look for what you want. Should be some great deals on 6.0s and take care of the EGR/oil cooler issues and you're golden. Shouldn't brake the bank either.

    Question '01 SD 7.3 for '96 7.3 CCSB

Personally I would fix yours or trade up to a newer one. I had a '94 and my '04 is such an upgrade I couldn't go back.

    Help Needed 2005 F250 CC 6.0L

I would first look at NADA or Kelly Blue Book and see what values are in your area. I know 7.3s have inflated values on premium rigs because everyone wants one but I'm not sure 6.0s suffer the same fate which is good for us looking for a good truck. I would think you could find a lower miles rig...

    Front Swaybar Bushings

I need to change the the bushings from the bar to the front axle. Getting that clunk over bumps and two shops told me they are worn. Question is what brand? Saw Moog on Amazon for $9-$10. Should I just go to NAPA since I get a discount?

    Strange 2006 6.0 behavior cold

My injectors needed replacing at 155K when I had a rough start and idle until fully warmed up. They scanned the injectors and they showed five out of eight going south. Wonder if the brass in the upper fuel bowl made its way to some injectors?? Mine showed evidence of water in fuel on the...

    Help Needed 2005 F250 CC 6.0L

Could have a shop check it out if you like the truck and see what it really needs and what it would take to make it right then use that to negotiate with the dealer. Dealer might fix those first? But there are also plenty of these out there and you could keep on looking.

    Ford F250 Super Duty

I agree on the 6.0 not being a junk motor. It runs so well in stock form don't mess with it. there are some reliability upgrades then use as it was intended!!

    Helicopter like sound...

Sorry to hear you're having problems after you just bought it and I said don't worry about these rigs in your other post. So, no other symptoms? No hard start, running rough until warm or smoking? Must be something hitting something. Could be turbo, flex plate?? Let us know what you find out.

    2004 6.0L PS bad idea?

I have an '04, just turned 156K this morning. All stock like you. I did have to have injectors replaced at 155K because previous owners at some point didn't maintain fuel filters well enough. Talking with the mechanic who knows these motors well said no tuners, EGR delete or upgrade to one that...

Another question from the diesel noob!!

I use Power Service or Diesel Kleen (summer recipe) depending on the temps at every fill up. Won't pump fuel without it. One of those Farm Ranch stores near me had the 80 oz. jugs on sale for $9.95 so I bought two a couple days ago. Should last me most of the winter or more.

    Help Needed Belt Dressing Issues

If the belt has been on a while then it can't hurt to replace it. I guess you could try washing the dressing off with Dawn dishsoap but you'd probably have to take it of to do so anyway.

Question What did you do to your truck today?

Randy, if it makes you feel better I dropped $3500  on injectors last week. All went well and runs much better!! Evidence of water in the fuel before I bought it. Still a great truck. 155K on it injectors weren't that much of a surprise not knowing all the maintenance history. Oh, well...

    Glow plugs

You can get them from an International dealer if it's cheaper. I did when I changed them in my 7.3 IDI.
