    What does the oil temp run at normaly. When i'm pulling a trailer it goes to about 225 is that still ok.

    Does anyone know the normal operation temps for a 6.0 mine runs oil about 202/213 water 180/212 and trans about 150/165. Is that normal or do i need to be worried.

    Well I just called my performance diesel shop and orded it which one did you get the new livewire or the other one. The tranny shifting is the one this I really hated about the banks. Thats where i would get beat when the truck shifted. But as far as power you can tell a big difference?

    :dunno Ok on my trip to myrtle beach this weekend i pulled a little 6x12 enclosed trailer with our bikes in it. On the way down my temp started going up. Water temp got to 219 and oil temp to 227. Is that normal or is there anyway to cool it down. It just doesnt seem right to me. I just flushed...

    It might have been the Dyno but i was going to run it again this weekend till this head gasket thing now i'm worried. Pricey mistake. If i get a chance to run it i'll let you know the new numbers. So you dont think i have anything to worry about with the coolant?

    one thing that confuses me, is that everybody thinks that it only occurs with the banks stuff, and others say that banks is overrated and that tuners like SCT are so much better, well, have others 6.0's puked that had a SCT tuner on it? i don't know, thats my question. that is what i would like...

    So yours did the same thing to? Mine doesnt blow white smoke like a blown head gasket would do. What level do you run you coolant? I'm going to try and turn mine down so i can hopefully pull my trailer to bike week in SC. :confused:

    usually 2 but then SL when i'm messing around. Your talking about the harness. I'm figuring that i'll remove all the sixgun stuff. Even the docking port. And maybe just tape up the thermo wires in black tape to hopefully hide them. I dont think that an exhaust and intercooler void a fuel warrenty?
