    Is rebuilding this differential the same as an 8.8? I have a bad case of the one wheel pig squeal and am wanting to fix it. What kind of rearend comes under these trucks anyway? Thanks, Jesse

    Fuel pump shim with Superchips?

    I am confused about the fuel pump shim...I was told the fuel pressure is all mechanical and the chip doesn't control it, then I was told that the chip would over-ride the shim and with the Superchips it's useless to do the shim. Anyone care to clear this up for me? Thanks, Jesse

    Replaced ball joints, still have problem...

    Well, replaced them as well as the axle shaft dust seal. I noticed there is a seal/bearing on the backside of the hub between the hub and axle, what is it's purpose and should it have any play? I thought the balljoint was my problem, but I still have a grating noise/feel when I take left...

    Anyone know the legality of a cat on a diesel? My truck and my buddy's 05 Ram 2500 came with a cat, but my other friend's 04 2500 didn't come with one and I hear it isn't necessary on a diesel...anyone in the know? Jesse

    Yep, sorry, meant ball joint. The upper is wobbling bad. The bearing might also be grinding, but I will replace the ball-joint first and see if it solves the feeling in the floorboard...then I might tackle the bearing. Do I have to take the axle out to get the ball joints out? Do they hammer...

    I thought I had a tranny problem at steady part throttle under slight load (uphill)...but after installing a homemade Tymar and it getting worse and more pronounced...I'm thinking turbo surge. What can I do about it and what can I do to make sure this is/isn't the problem? Thanks, Jesse

    I won't lie, I bought the ones from Wally World for 20 bucks, cut a hole in the side for the arm rest and they fit....decently. They kind of wrinkle in the middle, but they keep my greasy butt off of the upholstery. Jesse

    Don't think I paid 30 for mine, seemed to recall it being lower than 20...Agreed, easy fix, I got tired of restarting the truck to get it to work. Don't bother cleaning it, just replace it, it works your ABS as well. Jesse

    Wow, your truck looks just like mine, but white...Do you like that Evo and the 5" exhaust? Have any pics of the truck after the 4" lift? Back to topic, do you have a company name and price for those driveshafts? The Skyjacker claims to come with a rear-end shim to nose it up to correct some...
