    Hmm, maybe it was Mar-99 that they switched over on the suspension...that's the date used by suspension lift companies to determine what kind of front kit to supply. Mine was Sep, so I know mine's early:) Jesse

    Check the inside of your door for the build date. Pre Mar-99 is early. It has a smaller turbo, smaller intake tubes on the engine, inferior tranny programming (gear hunting in hills), different track bar and locator, front u-bolts, and pitman arm. HTH, Jesse

    Morning squeal...power steering pump?

    When I fire the truck up, I get a squeal from about 12-1400 rpm's. It is sometimes intermittent, but sometimes I can maintain the rpm's and it will keep on squealing. Doesn't sound like a belt, more like metal/metal. I replaced the tensioner pullies 13k ago and the idler pulley...still does...

    Broke center yoke on driveshaft...

    Pressing in new u-joints and broke the center yoke on my rear driveshaft (the lip that holds in the retaining pin for the u-joint). It is a Spicer piece and I am wondering if I can find it at the local junkyard on the older F-250/350's? Otherwise it's $76 at the stealership. Does it come on...

    The way you run it into the exhaust is by using a one-way check valve common in early GM's and popular in drag racing (Have one on my mustang), but the system is then going to work on pressure differential...i.e. the CCV pressure has to be in excess of the exhaust pressure for the valve to open...
