That is it. Loose the convertor. You'll need get the delete/test pipe as the new systems are designed to keep the cat in place. Keith- ktpauley

Pile Buck, I went to the site you posted and looked at the hoses. They don't list 2 5/8" ump hoses. Another "trick" somebody over on the other site talked about was putting an O-ring on the pipe and then the hose. At 15K miles none of the intercooler hoses came off yet. I guess my luck is going...- ktpauley

Pile Buck, have you tried roughing the elbow? I also believe that there are constant torque clamps available as a replacement. That is the elbow, it's from the intercooler to the engine. Max Power, I have the PDF file of the 6.0 Bible. Is there any way that if I send it to you as a PM you...- ktpauley

I agree with Barrett. The only difference is his truck is an '03 and mine is an '04. From what I've heard the '04 has less turbo whistle. Get the MBRP turbo back duals and loose the cat. Keith- ktpauley

I found the directions on how to remove the throttle plate. It was hidden in the archives. The intercooler hose just behind the top of the radiator (the hose that blows off) connects to an elbow. Three bolts hold this eblow down, from memory I believe two of the bolts are 6mm and one is 8 or...- ktpauley

To get around the EGR buy a second one (dummy EGR). Plug the connector into the dummy EGR and wire tie out of the way. To remove the throttle plate yopu need a magnetic tip. I think the 2 screws are torx, but can't remember the size. ISurvivedNMU, you might not even have the throttle plate...- ktpauley
