    OAE=Old Antarctic Explorer. I have been in condition 1. Driving back from the ice runway. We almost got to the transition ramp at town when it was announced on the radio. The film crew should have gotten there during Winfly. Now that would have been an experience for them. :roflmao Keith

    It could be the throttle plate sensor sticking in the closed position. That is IF your truck has one. That was a running change, and I don't know when it wasn't installed anyymore. Keith

    FORD "X" SPRINGS??

    I installed them on my truck because of the bumper, and winch I have on it. The bumper, and winch dropped the front 1 1/2", and weighs around 500#. With the X code springs the front in 1/4" higher than stock. Keith

    Bill, you are right in that the X code springs are standard on the 450/550 trucks. They are 6000# rated, and will lift the front of 250/350 trucks 1 1/2 " to 1 3/4". If you are going to replace the springs also get new U-bolts, and nuts. Keith

    Saw ZZ Top last night!!!

    I haven't gotten a chance to see them in concert, but I really like their songs. CMT has a show called Crossroads. One show had ZZ Top playing with Brooks& Dunn, another was Montgomery Gentry with Skynrd. Those were great to watch. Keith
