    help me w/ th logic of the rear boots mounted UP ? Bilsteins mount w/ the boots DOWN...FRONT AND REAR Bilsteins mount with the body up, boot down. It prevents dirt from gathering around the seal on the shock.....if it were boot up the body of the shock acts like a shelf to collect...

    the front AND REARS install w/ the boot DOWN ! the boots are there to keep dirt/sand/water off the shock rod...w/ the boots "down" it allows water to drain OUT (see small holes in the shock boot). you want the dirt/water away from the shock rod... dirt traveling on the shock rod will...

    my kicker solobaric 10" (L5) dual voice coil is wired for 2ohms and i WAS driving it w/ a bridged 400w fosgate punch amp. the fosgate would get so hot it would "thermal shutdown".... i used my laser thermometer to check the temp one time after it shutdown...i got readings fo 155* (f) ...

    ive done some research comparing the 12inch Pioneer & 12inch JL thin mounts... the Pioneer shallow mounts require .75 more inches of mounting depth (compared to the JL's) the JL's are a bit bigger in their overall speaker area...and they require a larger mounting hole. the pioneer...

    HFCM Help again..

    as ATK says...replace the housing/cover. when you pull that old cover off to replace it make sure you use the drain plug "upgrade" so you dont have this issue again FDDTS - HFCM Water Separator Drain Plug Upgrade
