    GOOD point...i had to cut one of the "hangers" that was welded to the MBRP...it was too long and would have been bangin' against the frame....i probably cut a good 2 inches off the one hanger.

    is the down pipe hitting the fire wall ? i have a turbo back mbrp on my 2004 6.0 mine sounds fine... im using the mbrp muffler & cat delete pipe....no problems. youve either got a leak at the down pipe or some where close...or the a bit of pipe is hitting something.

    cant vouch for that...but honestly i prefer REDUNDANT monitoring... if you are concerned about the operational parameters of your vehicle then i would personally prefer INDEPENDANT <redundant> monitoring. as for the accuracy of the factory "monitoring" points...ill let you drawl your OWN...

    there are some "tuner" manufactures that will "ignore" the egr codes along w/ some others sensors. the trans temp <pick up> is the same "pick-up" as the factory gauge is using...

    FORD "CAN" applies to all 6.0L engines (2003+) as well as current model (6.4L) engines. As CHP points out...there is not EGT, since there is not EGT Pyro/Probe (from the factory). This gauge is really only reading SOME of the data that is available to MOST OBDII port connection...

    some codes dont turn on the check engine/service engine lights. if youre getting a cel or ses light then you have a problem that needs to be resolved. turning the light off or clearing codes wont make the problem go away...the light and codes will just come back.
