    well if youre gonna educate us, PLEASE educate yourself by comparing the fram filter... im sure theres a walmart in your town...take some time & go visit one...youll see the for yourself that the FRAM & M/C oil filters are EXACTLY the same. as for fuel filters...ive yet to see a FRAM...

    what ? they replaced parts and didnt have codes ? if you had a cracked egr cooler then i hope they looked at the oil cooler for restriction...would have been nice if while they were in there they replaced the HPOP connector. were you suffering from a loss of coolant ?

    the wix & napa golds are NOT IMO w/in spec...theyre designed differently (plastic tube in the middle, shorter than the OE MotorCraft or Fram and they are missing the felt gasket on the bottom).

    one POSITIVE way to look at this...is FORD wont have all that boat anchor legacy holding 'em back...and what really EARTH MOVING changes could they implement ? direct injections ? twin turbos ? egr ? dpf ? intercoolers ? its all been done before and they have the experiance of learning...
