    theres not a TON of room where youre talking about, I have seen some switches mounted in that location but i cant recall if ive seen the CARLING switches from Shane mounted there. your biggest problem w/ mounting 'em where youre thinking is that the mounting surface isnt completely FLAT...

    those are "Shane's" Switches...very same ones that I'm using. They take a TREMENDOUS beating & I have yet to have one fail. They can be purchased in just about any configuration & labeling you want...lit & not lighted versions are available.

    check the fuses...and dont bet that you can just VISUALLY confirm a blown fuse...you might have to put a meter 'cross it. these little buggers are hard to see when / if theyre blown. now i replace blown fuses w/ one of these (lights up when blown) !

    the 6.4L doesnt use an HPOP ? its not HUEI injected... like the 7.3 & 6.0 the 6.4L uses "common rail" (someone correct me if im wrong in that terminology) even if it DID have an HPOP and it was leaking down the truck would either be 1) hard to start or 2) WOULDNT start....which STILL...

    crash sensors?

    I dont but you may have more issue than just the impact sensors. the pretensioners could be your problem. assuming your trying to replace parts after a crash...youll need a code reader to pin-point which items need replacement.

    Helping a friend.... says truck starts, idles and will eventually run down the road fine, but the throttle seems hard to control...lurch-ing...says barely touch the throttle and itll spin the wheels then die...very hard to control but says once you get it goin down the highway it cruises...
