    do you have a link to those ? the only kits ive ever seen worked by stopping the flow TO or THRU the egr cooler. I think Ive seen one or two that welded the egr cooler shut but those were "home made" not kits, and even those didnt stop the flow of COOLANT, just the hot exhaust flow.
