    if youre gonna do this do it right (the 1st time)...install and mount a fuel filter / water sep. between the in bed tank & the main (factory tank). Ill see if i can find the instructions that some one created (including all the fittings and parts needed) to do it right.

    what makes you think it was over boosting...i see 30psi all the time...peaks to 32psi are common. the clamps either worked themselves loose (combined w/ the oil mist) or were never adequately tightened, knowing the youve had turbine work done i suspect the clamps werent tight and the hose...

    you GOT to clean the mating surfaces of the hose & connection. i agree <there i said it> w/ f350drw1 use some form-a-gasket and tighten the clamps...LET IT Set up good before you drive it.

    the front axles are pressed in...theyre on splined shafts, AT the inner & Outter axle ends... they have to travel "some" to compensate for angles and turning. the axles are held in by the steering knuckles (if i remember the proper assembly order)

    I'd go for it...but you should know the toughest boss youll ever work for is YOURSELF ! a good HONEST MECHANIC is hard to find...if youre one of those youll be able to PRINT money like its TP comin' off the roll ;) go into this EXPECTING to give your life to it for at least 5yrs...

    same one...just finally got 'round tu-it ! I went slow...i was told it "paid" 4hrs...and the professionals do it in 2-3hrs. it took me 5 w/ testing and lunch...id do it again in a heart beat...although i hope this bearing lasts longer than 3 yrs ! the whirlpool is EXACTLY the same...
