    i will try to make it. don't know yet, as i don't really know my way around austin very well. especially north austin. i have to see if my stepdad will go with me or see if my girlfriend's brother is going to go and i will just follow him.

    ohhhh. cool. yeah i planned on using only one of the antennas and using the other for a dummy antenna. my brother used the same exact setup and i don't think he ever got out more than like 10-15 miles. maybe that's why he wasn't getting out very far. thanks for the help.

    what do ya'll do at the rally? how long is it? how long would i be gone from here? just thought i would ask in case i am able to go, although my truck blows absolutely NO black smoke(except for if i rev it up, then it blows a little bit.)

    i have a cobra 29 LCD classic with 2 5' firestix that i haven't installed yet, but i don't know much about the SWR'S and what not. i have an SWR meter, just don't know what to look for. what kind of swr's should i be looking for and how do i set the swr's. just thought i would ask. thanks

    the air filter minder... the little guage that sticks out of the air filter box, which has a spring in it and a rubber button thingy at the top. i never noticed it after i hit the fence until the day i put my new grille on.

    heyyyyy. i just thought of something. we could have a big competition with the central texas diesel guys since they all drive cummins trucks. sounds like a good idea, but i know one of those guys has a dodge with a bit over 700 hp and 1500 lb. ft. of tq. it sure would be fun though wouldn't...

    i don't know where that is, but then again i haven't even driven in austin since i've had my license. i will ask around and maybe see if my stepdad will go with me out there so he can tell me how to get there

    not very hard. just left a dent in front part of hood and a couple of scratches down the side. not sure how fast i was going when i actually hit the fence, but the post were only like 1ft in the ground and they gave pretty easily.

    what would make the little gauge on the air filter box break? i noticed it the yesterday when i put my new grille in. i wrapped it with A LOT of electrical tape and called it good, but was just wondering what would make it do that. thanks!

    i think i'm going to do it pearl white. that way i don't have to worry about painting all the parts that are white another color. i can just keep the truck assembled and get after it.

    i would go to the rally, but i don't make enough money to pay for diesel all the way up there and back. well let us know about the next meeting asap, b/c i would really like to be there and try to get this thing going again. i will try to bring some of my friends that drive psd's. :thumbs

    my interior is blue... i don't think red would go real great with that. good thought though, red looks pretty good on the OBS trucks.
