    ok boys......i heard from james and im 1 step in the right direction now...gonna pick up the 10.25 rear and the 8.8 rear sometime this week. slap the 8.8 in for a quick fix then take the 10.25 to get powdercoated, get 4.56's slapped in, maybe a disc brake conversion....then in she goes...next...

    ok james looks like im gonna take your axle.....i need to order 4.56 gears for it...i need more info...its asking me what year cuz the gears are designed for 1993 and older trucks???? what if its newer??????

    ok.....so heres my dilema...do i spend $700-800 on new gears for an axle i dont want in the truck..or buy james 10.25 spend $700-800 on gears for that...and whatever other costs i will end up with trying to get that axle in my truck....anyone know how hard it is? does that axle have a speed...
