    Basically, you jack up the front of the truck on the FRAME, NOT the AXLE, loosen the u bolts, and slide the blocks out. I believe that's how it's done. Somebody who has done it may chime in, but I pretty sure that's how you do it. Not too complicated I believe. Welcome to SDD.com

    Oh, yeah, I would have called him crazy, but at this point, $4.79/gal. is better than $4.89 or higher. I'm just glad to see a decrease in fuel prices as apposed to increases every other day. Hell, 4 years ago, I'd call somebody crazy to be happy about $3.50/gal. for diesel:tounge

    On RVs, they have generators that run all the accessories and charge the batteries. I don't know that just a laptop would toast your alternator.

    You mean the one that's like a solid axle hacked into two? His is a 97 and so is mine and I have a SOLID axle up front. Looks like maybe a D60? Are the D50s known for this tire issue?

    350, what year is your truck? If it's an 03 your gonna have one hell of a whistle from the turbo. It's loud, but I like loud stuff. My neighbor has an 03 that I believe is striaht piped and it whistle like there's no tomorrow. I like it.
