    did you even check to see if the fuel pump was pumping or trying to pump? disconnect quick disconnect under the truck, attach spare line and run into a bucket. cycle key. this wont tell fuel pressure, but will tell you if it works. its an easy test.

    dunno. drive it like you stole it? did you check your oil to make sure fuel isnt getting in it? loose harness connection? could be tons of things. definetely should be gone by now with 550 miles put on it.

    1999 Powerstroke Excessive Oil Consumption

    im guessing the turbo is leaking it not the injectors... but not ruling out the injecotr o rings.... i personally experienced both leaking scenarios, that is why i suggest it the turbo first.

    i bought mine all at the dealership except the bolts and nuts. i bought them at lowes. two up pipes and two crush donuts less than 100. bolts i think less then 5. i bot the strongest ones i could get. grade 8 is what i got i think.

    go to a car wash. start with engine/tire cleaner. the pressure wash it. alot.

    oh, press down on the line, use the tool and then pull up. seems to work better that way. i also sprayed cleaner all around the connector just in case any dirt got in there and is causing the release not to release.
