    I definatley wouldn't do that! I would buy the gears from whoever does the install that way they have to warranty the whole job.     If it's an 08 single wheel 8on170 If it's an 08 dually 8on200. If it's 99-04 single or dual it's 8on170 but with less backspacing. 08 wheels will be sucked way under .

    have you run it down the road with a GPS. The factory speedo can be off by as much as 7% +or - . You may not need to get the speedo recal done.

    If the part number on the shocks is either 336000 or 936000 then they are the right shocks. Most of the time you have to put it on the ground to get the rear shocks to reach. You have the rear springs together correctly. If you want to eliminate a block you can go to Ford and get a rear block...
