    Thanks gauges are on the way, already have the Trans Temp. Will probably scrap the Superchips,(thinking about DP tuner) do something about exhaust, and talk to John Wood about a trans. Anything else? We won't be towing until about May so want to get the 'old dog' ready to fly, before that,

    Trans temp gauge only. Besides EGT what other gauges should I have? After 1hr with a Ford dealer finally found the Temp limit for the 4r100, but they really didn't know. And EGT what limits should I know about them? Gauges are nice but if you don't know what normal is, what is too high...

    During the summer bit the bullet and traded my motorhome in for a fifth wheel. so needed a truck. After reading lots of posts ended up with a 2001 F350 DRW 2WD ( don't have much use ffor 4x4 on dry paved roads). Still trying to learn all the techie stuff about truck, it does have superchips tuner.
