03 7.3 died on road, no start now
The injectors only have about 50,000 on them, and the oil rings on the injectors were replaced about 30,000 miles ago...from what I know of the condition, I'm kinda leaning towards injector o-rings anyways. The shop doesn't have the equipement to isolate the heads and check the HPOP pressure...- elkyss81

That's what I'm thinking the codes probably come from, what I was told they had done lot's of cranking on it and the batteries have probably died down causing the codes. Hard to say for sure not knowing what they are though.- elkyss81

Dad doesn't remember the codes, tech just told him "ECM codes" is what he said. Tech also said they replaced the IPR with another known good one, still same issue.- elkyss81

This is my dads truck, we need some help here. 2003 F350 CC dually 4wd. 498,*** miles. I don't actually have the truck it's at a shop in Harrisburg, PA and they can't figure it out. Truck just shut off going down the road. Towed to shop, 340PSI on ICP after about 5 seconds of cranking will climb...- elkyss81

Tires causing steering wander?
Not sure how much newer it goes, but a buddy told me about a TSB for the ball joints causing a wander/ hard to return steering. First step is to set the truck on turn plates(like an alignment rack), remove tie rod ends from knuckle, install a bolt/nut in hole, grab a torque wrench & set to 100...- elkyss81

Hmm. I have a similar issue. I have an '00 F250 ext cab shortbed, with 285/75r17 Federal Couragia M/T's. Load Range D max of 65psi also. Help Needed IDM Codes
Did you guys ohm them hot or cold? Just an FYI, it's best to ohm things out when they are hot or they have been worked. Lot's of times things like that will test good cold, but as they warm up they just get worse and worse.- elkyss81
