Head Gasket
Wow surely dont waste youre money. If you hear a boost leak its surely a boost leak. Besides head gasket failures and 7.3 dont go in the same sentence. BLUE SMOKE AND LOWEND TORQUE
Low coolant would lean towards egr cooler,blue smoke and no power on accel could be lots of things including egr valve. To be honest if youre losing coolant on a 6.0 and its not coming out of the degas bottle or leaking externally its usually the cooler. Believe me not youre favorite job for us...- powerstroker24

08 6.4 head bolts and gaskets
To answer your question nothing was done. The 6.4 has the same head as the 6.0 as well as bolts. Whenever I replace a head on a 6.0 now I get a 6.4 head which is nothing but a different rocker box bolt setup which means nothing. HELP!! 7.3l running rough/no power
I agree due to the fact the cel came on and it was running rough-p1316 idm codes im sure. If it has good oil which im sure it does pop both the valve covers off and see which one. If you want to know for sure and cant pull codes but can get it to stay running disconnect each valve cover harness...- powerstroker24
