Well I can vouch that an alarm w/ a pager still doesn't keep thieves out of your truck. I got broke into Friday night at Pasado's in Frisco. They just grabbed what they could real quick, what I had in my passenger seat, but that flashing blue light didn't seem to detour him at all. So Sat...
Hey Bama, it's ok, I'm with you buddy. I'm a die hard GM fan, just not of their HD line of trucks. I will be one of the 1st in line for a new Camaro, unless the rumors of a new 'Bird coming are true (but doubtful).
Fx4ord if you are wanting to something black, that will withstand the heat and time, Jett Hott (they do a black ceramic coating) and see what they can do for you. That's the only way I would go, I just don't believe powder coating can handle the heat.
Bama I would go with the Toyo Open Country line before the Nittos, I had a set on my '03 7.3 and they're a pretty rough ridin tire, very stiff sidewalls. And yes you can get all those tires (BFG,Nitto,Toyo,etc.) in an E range 18", most Discount Tire and Big O Tire stores will have them in stock...
After being in paradise ( St. Lucia ) for a week, I love gettin back to TX. There's no way in hell I could get my truck through any of their roads, plus they all drive like maniacs anyway.
The oilguard uses a much better filter, tightly wound cotton vs. a TP (literally toilet paper roll) filter. And as far as pricing, the oilguard was much cheaper, I bought my 6.0L kit w/ 3 extra filters and 3 analysis kits for $450, don't know what happened there.
You're reading it wrong, they mean it will support up to 550hp, meaning bolting on that turbo w/ supporting mods. You won't make 550hp on an all stock motor by replacing your stock turbo w/ that turbo.
That's a great deck Bush, that's what I replaced mine w/ when my old unit got jacked about 8 months ago. Give it a week and you'll be able to fly through the controls & menus w/ the remote & not even have to look at what your doing.
The '07 still has stock bulbs, but my '03 had Silverstars in it for just over 2 years before I give it to the dealer for trade-in. I loved them, thought they were worth the money.
I've got the Viper 791 XV, has everything you can put into alarm system, two way paging, remote start, remote w/ LCD screen, etc. A little pricey, but that coupled w/ the jimmi jammers, was worth it to me after my truck got hit as well.
No it says, "...the pre-production diesel powerplant you see here was only modifiedwith a diesel particulate filter-back Jardine exhaust system." That would mean all emissions equipment was still intact, I believe.
My '07 owner's manual says all that crap. They've always tried to enforce that, but they won't be able to. As long as you have all the emissions equipment, and use the emissions complient oils/fuels etc., they don't have a leg to stand on. What are they gonna say,"... but you have an aftermarket...
Yes I meant the F350 on the cover, I'm still in awe. I'm actually just staring at it, as it sits on my desk, while I type this.
BTW Bama,
<==== This guy, not a Cummins fan.:nono:
