    A power steering sensor went bad on the one I can drive and started leaking $280.00 to fix a $5.00 part. Engine Compartment is really small!! Car only had 12,000 miles but was already out of warranty.

    The thing is a Rocket. Fun to drive. But I'm 6'1" and my knees rub on the console and something on the left. It's not very comfi for me. You had better not plan on any long trips either.     Fuel Mileage............

    Summer Fuel must be here. I took a 999.7 mile trip over the weekend and I averaged 1 MPG better then I had been sense the first of the year 14.5 MPG Average!! 80 MPH on the Interstate for 600 of those miles 100 miles of gravel roads in TN and NC. and 300 on 2 lane paved roads in TN. NC and GA.

    The Best Leveling Kit?

    My add-a Leafs are Tuff Country front and rear. The front was supposed to be 2 inches and the rear was supposed to be 2 inches. The front wound up being 2.25 and the rear was 3. That wound up being perfect. The ride and stance is now like my 350. My 305s on 10 inch wheels still rub at full lock.

    When the Fuel level gets down to about 13 gallons left in the tank and the low fuel warning comes on at 25 Miles to Empty (That is the same time I might add) the truck starts bucking and jerking to the point it is not drivable!! If you are willing to put up with 200 miles of the computer...

    I've put 42.8 gallons in my 38 gallon tank that being said I coasted up to the pump cuz it had ran out. Five more feet and I would have had to push it!! That was on my 01!! On 05/06/07s Ford decided to make it so you couldn't run out of fuel. Yours doesn't buck or hesitate cuz it's a 04!!

    05s, 06s and I'm assuming 07s and 08s have a different fuel use tank strategy. Ford thinks it’s better to leave 15 gallons in the tank on a Long Bed (38 gallon tank will actually hold 42.8). Most I could ever put in my 06 long bed was 33 gallons and then the truck had been bucking for 75 miles...

    Fill up with a gallon more or less and the actual fuel mileage could be 1 MPG off in either direction I keep a long term average. I can go all the way back on my 01. I can also tell you about the last 5,000 miles or so. One tank (406 miles) don't speak for much.

    Put the Ford in 2nd low-lock give him about 1500 RPMs, hold the brake until the other guy spins. If he don't Put it in park and let off the brake slightly your truck will rock backwards Slightly and will almost always brake the other guys U joints!! Then haul azz with him! Done it many times!!
