    MBRP turbo back is the only way to go IMO. Still very quiet inside and very throaty outside. Mark Craig @ Diesel Performance Parts is where I got mine from. You will be hard to beat his price. He's a vendor here. Send him a PM.

    Pretty much, unbolt the OEM bars and bolt the new ones on. You can do both in an hour or so. They both come with very detailed install instructions with great pictures.

    To the naked eye, there wasn't much difference side by side. I put the new axle mount bushing on the OEM bar and there was a little play. The new bar is slightly bigger. But the new bar eliminates all of the front end push that the truck had. Front and rear sways are a must on the Excursion IMHO.

    Trust me, the Hellwig rear sway kit cured 90% of the problem on my X. I had the same problems you are describing. Best $150 you'll ever spend on your X.

    I tow with my X everyday. The Hellwig rear anti sway bar will fix 90% of your problem. Trust me on this. I'm going to replace the front one this week. Should handle like a million bucks.

    My 2005 X is a 4X4 and already has a sway bar. Is the aftermarket version a great improvement over the stock one? Or is it geared more towards 2WD's without one?
