    How much play in steering?

    I have about 1" or so, I know I need tie rods and the pitman arm bushing could stand to be replaced, but she does wander quite a bit.

    No, kidding...I thought we were still in Feb here in NC, its firggin cold! 38 with a wind chill of 21...Today the high is only around 50 and the wind is supposed to continue to blow 20 gusting to 25....

    Does you truck run different.....

    My gasser does the same thing, but since I changed the plugs, It runs pretty good, I went from platinum's +4's to cheap ones and believe it or not, it does better on the cheaper plugs.

    Suspension/steering damper?

    Yes, they do have one installed from the factory. I had one, but I swaped it out for a new one. It has nothing to do with the diesel, I have a gasser and it had one from the factory. It wont fix the wandering problem, if you look up Landyot radius rods, they will cure the wandering.

    I havent towed anything big yet, but in May when I go get my Jeep in PA, I will be bringing it down on a trailer, so I get around 14 on the highway now, but I am figuring the milage will be 10 or so. I am running a 4:30LS rear end, so I am anxious how it will do.
