    DIY AFE ??

    I have read the DIY for the stock air filter replacement, but it seems like everyone is using a Fleet or NAPA filter element. Is there a reason that you would not use an AFE washable air cleaner instead? It seems that over the long haul you would be $$ ahead with the cost of repalcement filters...

    Was driving the truck today and I notice the speedo not working. Then I see the OD light on the shifter is flashing. Acted this way for about a mile then everything ok. Anybody got any ideas what I need to look for? Thanks. Gary
