    I'll check and make sure I'm getting 10.5v, it cranks it over like it should and I usually have a battery charger hooked up. Could it mean the icp is bad or does it mean the input volts are low. does the p1211 mean the ipr is bad?

    It sounds like its in limp mode. only have 2nd gear and reverse. What type of scanner does your buddy have, I would think there should be something. Did you fill it up with fluid. Try changing fluid and filter. It's sounds like it might be time for a rebuild. How many miles on it?
