    Got the truck working again today. And you all were right, the deeper I dug the more crispy critters I found. Pulled the valve covers, the gasket connectors on both sides had burned bits. Replaced gaskets, harness, and repaired pins on engine harness. Truck is running great now. Thanks guys! BBT

    Burnt valve cover pins

    I found two burnt pins, one in each connector from the engine harness to the passenger side valve cover, both the first pin closest to the radiator. Is it possible to replace just the connector and/or pins to the valve covers? Or do I need a whole new engine harness? Thanks, BBT

    Pulled the chip but the motor still dies as before. Jody has a PCM in stock for my truck which I’m going to have burned and shipped to arrive tomorrow. Hopefully that will do it and I’ll be back on the road again by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks
