    clutch help

    Make sure its going bad first.You could hav a small fuel leak that is getting on to the clutch and letting it slip.I Installed a South Bend Con-O conversion and it works fine.My clutch was ok but the duel mass flywheel was shot.

    make sure its a GPR and not a starter relay.My old GPR started clicking a lot so I thought I would clean the terminals,It didn't work out to good.I think the bacolite case was baked.The posts were loose.

    If you have to change the solenoid on the starter use the right size cross tip screwdriver and small locking pliers on the screw heads at the same time they are locktited in.An impact driver may work but I didn't have one.

    Sounds electrical,take a look at the IPR connection for chaffed wires or the little tin nut could be loose.Check the GP and Inj connectors at the valve cover gasket for melting.Check the heater in your fuel bowl it maybe getting ready to short out.Good luck

    If your batteries are weak,low oil,or a blown fuse will keep the truck from starting.Are you getting any smoke while cranking?You may hve cranked all the oil out of the HPOP.Others will chime in.Good luck

    I had a slight hum or vibration in mine last year.Mine was from front axel shaft u-joints.that was 130,000 miles on the truck.Also the balljoints were shot.The wheel bearings were in good shape just a little dry.
