if i pull in 4th gear,the rpms get really high,close to 3000rpms,thats in 4th,i didnt think that was safe for the engine- 97powerstroker

i dont think manuals are good for pulling,i hooked to about 1500 pounds the other day,1-4th pulled it like it wasnt there,so i jump on the highway thinkin 5th will do the same,i couldnt get past 80,they say to just pull in 4th,but doin highway speeds i would be around 2500-3000 rpms,thats not...- 97powerstroker

hey all im new on here and i have some questions about my 97 f 250,supercab 7.3 l diesel,my manual says it can only tow 9,800lb,but ive heard guys say they can tow alot more,its got a 5 speed manual with overdrive,3.55 gears,and also the payload of it if you have an idea,plus its got a banks...- 97powerstroker
